Four Athens member, Pylon Products, pitches at TI:GER Competition
Four Athens member, Christopher Henseler, presented his company, Pylon Products, at the annual TI:GER pitching competition in Atlanta last week.
The TI:GER competition, which brings together MBA students from UGA and Georgia Tech, allows teams to present their 3 minute pitches to Atlanta based investors. The judges measured the teams’ ability to convey their problem and solution, demonstrate a clear customer base and on time management in the presentations.
Pylon Products made it to the final round of the competition. After the competition, Chris said, “Four Athens was instrumental in my success in the presentation; the mentors gave me a wealth of information that I utilized for the pitch”.
Pylon allows consumers to sign into wifi networks at their favorite local businesses without the need for a password. The Pylon app is now available in the app store for beta customers and is working with local businesses to test out their technology.
