Learning to Code at Four Athens
In 2013, one of our big projects at Four Athens is a member’s only networking platform that will allow for private discussions, announcements, group beta testing and feedback, an area for freelancers to find local work and an area for employers and founders to search for talent and partners. And much more!
And as an added twist, LoriAnne and I will be building it from scratch to teach ourselves to code. I’ll provide everyone an update in 2016 when it’s finished 😉
In reality, we are going to be undertaking this in a very structured manner. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, we will meet at 7:30am until 9:00am at Four Athens and teach ourselves the basics of code. We hope to have a firm grasp on the basics by the end of Q1 2013 and be making progress on the system by end of Q2 2013.
We’d love for you to join us in our code adventure. For the first few weeks, we are going to be using codecademy.com and progress from there.
Are you just learning to code? Never learned but interested in how? Have the next big startup idea but just need that developer to make it happen? Come join us and learn to build!
Every Tuesday and Thursday at Four Athens from 7:30 until 9:00am we’ll be learning. Hope to see you there!
